This has to be the most special project Lovelace Studios has done to date. A sweet nursery for our baby girl arriving this spring! I began designing the nursery before finding out the gender of our little one. It all began with the embroidered weeping willow art I sourced off of Facebook Marketplace. I loved the colors and they lended themselves to a gender neutral nursery that I knew would grow with the baby, no matter the gender and was something I could lean more girly or more boyish once we found out. I knew I wanted to color drench the room and apply wallpaper to the ceiling to give little one something to admire while lying in her crib. Pottery Urn by Sherwin Williams was just the tickets for the walls. It made the room so warm and cozy! Layering in kid proof textiles and additional colors gives this room a collected feel without being too grown up, but able to transition with her as she grows. We can’t wait to welcome our little one and spend so much time enjoying watching her grow in this room.
